ในสัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์ระหว่างวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม ถึง 1-2 กันยายน 2566 สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อมได้จัดกิจกรรมสัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์โดยมีรายละเอียดกิจกรรม ดังนี้

จุดเด่น/ความน่าสนใจของสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม (About the program)

สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม ถือเป็นสาขาวิชาที่มีความจำเป็นอย่างมากในการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมอันเกิดขึ้นจากการกระทำของมนุษย์ อีกทั้งตลาดแรงงานยังมีแนวโน้มความต้องการนักวิทยาศาสตร์ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เพิ่มขึ้นในอนาคตอีกด้วย

Environmental Science Program is crucial in solving environmental problems arising from human actions. Besides, the labor market is likely to have an increasing demand for environmental scientists in the future.

 รายละเอียดวิชาที่ต้องเรียน, การเรียน (Courses overview)

วิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นศาสตร์ที่ครอบคลุมหลากหลายสาขาวิชา ได้แก่ เคมี ชีววิทยา  ฟิสิกส์ คณิตศาสตร์ ธรณีวิทยา ปฐพีวิทยา และภูมิศาสตร์ ซึ่งองค์ความรู้ดังกล่าวสามารถนำมา
บูรณาการและประยุกต์ใช้ในการศึกษาและทำความเข้าใจในทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม ตลอดจน การติดตาม ตรวจสอบ และแก้ไขปัญหาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยมีเป้าหมายสูงสุดอยู่ที่การส่งเสริมความเข้าใจในสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีความซับซ้อนที่อยู่รอบตัวเราและการปฏิบัติเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยนักวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อมจะรับผิดชอบการจัดการใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดและ ลดการก่อมลพิษ เพื่อที่จะช่วยในการรักษาทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมให้มีความสมบูรณ์และ ความยั่งยืน    

Environmental science covers a wide range of disciplines, including chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, geology, soil science, and geography. This knowledge can be integrated and applied in studying and understanding the natural resources and environment. It can also be used in monitoring, verification, and environmental problem-solving. The ultimate goal of the program is to raise the understanding of the complex environment. Environmental scientists will be responsible for managing the efficient use of natural resources and reducing the generation of pollutants to protect the natural resources and environment sustainably.

สำหรับนักเรียนที่สนใขเข้าศึกษา (Eligibility)

1)   กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 แผนการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์-คณิตศาสตร์ หรือเทียบเท่า

2)   ผลการเรียนเฉลี่ย 5 ภาคการศึกษา ไม่น้อยกว่า 2.50 และจะต้องมีผลการเรียนในวิชาฟิสิกส์, เคมี, ชีววิทยา และคณิตศาสตร์ ไม่น้อยกว่า 2.50

1.   Thai applicants who are currently studying in or have graduated with Mattayom Suksa 6 certificate in Science – Mathematics Programs

2.   Applicants who are studying in or have graduated from the Thai educational system must have the latest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the minimum of 2.50  and must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in each subject.  A five-semester academic record for those studying and a six-semester academic record for those who already graduated is required.
